The room quieted, all eyes turning to me. I could feel the weight of their expectations, the unspoken questions in their gazes.

“We’ll reinforce Silver Ridge,” I said firmly. “They’re not falling on my watch. Marcus, take a unit of Lycans and head there immediately. Set up defenses and hold the line until the rest of us arrive.”
