I lay on my bed, waiting for Bella to return. The party had ended, and though I had enjoyed having her by my side the entire evening, I found myself missing her presence even more the moment she left. I smiled, imagining her catching up with Justina, probably giggling and talking about the night. I loved how happy she seemed with her new friend, but a part of me wished she’d hurry back.
