We made our way out of the palace quietly, taking a less conspicuous route to avoid drawing attention. The car ride was peaceful, with Bella humming softly along to the music playing on the radio. She looked out the window, her expression relaxed and content.

"Is this the way to Madam Clara’s?" I asked as I followed her directions.

"Yes, it’s not far," she replied, glancing at me. "You’ll like her, Lucian. She’s kind, down-to-earth, and her food is amazing."
