Lily's POV

Friday morning started with Janet bringing me coffee and a list of urgent calls from lenders that made my stomach drop.

"Three major creditors want conference calls today. They're concerned about media reports suggesting Thompson Enterprises is insolvent." Janet's expression was worried. "Mr. Thompson is already in the conference room reviewing damage control strategies."

I grabbed the coffee and headed to find Alexander who looked like he hadn't slept.
