I’ve done a lot of thinking since the last time Benedict and I were alone and were making out. I don’t expect that I’ll ever take a mate, especially now that I’m going to become an Alpha of my own pack. No male will be okay with me not stepping down as the Alpha so they can take over my pack. While I know I’ll miss the  intimacy of having a mate, I’ve come to terms with the fact that a life like what Uncle Roman and Aunt Samara have isn’t in my future.
