The moment we walk into the pack hospital, Jalen looks at Stephanie as if she’s his savior.

“Luna!”

She walks right up to him and pulls him into a hug. I do a quick assessment of him. He’s disheveled and smells wild, like he’s been in the forest for days. I also smell fear and the faint hint of rogue on him. He, at least, has renounced Ellis and Elena as his Alpha and Luna.
