Michael stays silent for a while, and the only thing that can be heard in the room is the occasional drop of water dripping into the sink that comes from the other side of the room, precisely from the kitchen.

Which leads me to think that someone didn't secure the tap well enough.

I make a mental note to myself to go and check it later, but for now, the fact that Michael has gone silent is of utmost importance to me. Who would have thought that my mind would be in such chaos ...
