They keep me restrained for two days. Strapped to the examination table while my body slowly remembers how to be human. Or wolf. Or whatever I'm supposed to be.

Konstantin visits every few hours. Taking samples. Running tests. Asking questions I'm too exhausted to answer. He treats me like a specimen under glass. Something fascinating but not quite alive.

On the third day, he finally releases the restraints.

"Can you stand?" he asks.
