It was too easy.

It was too good to be true. It couldn’t be over, it was just too easy. All it took were three arrows to take down that menace.

I couldn’t believe it.

My eyes narrowed in on the water in search for any sign of her body. There was none. We had the soldiers and patrols following the river’s path in search for her.

I would not be at peace until I find her body and burn it to ash, and then I would throw her ashes into the toilet.
