“The Annual Black Fire Pack Festival is an occasion that happens on the first month of the first waning crescent moon. For centuries, it has been our pack’s tradition to celebrate this night, for it is a night that represents rests, prophecy and transition. In this night, the veil between worlds thin. Our ancestors walk beside the living and wolves feel reflective and subdued. On this night we worship our ancestors and engage in spiritual cleansing.”
