AMARA’S POV

The moon was remarkable tonight.

It was an element I had always admired more than any other in the world. It always appeared when the world was as its darkest, standing bright and proud. There was not a single star that could compete with it.

It did not cower or try to shrink itself to be like other stars, to be accepted, to be small. It stood large, bright and proud.

But I wondered if it ever felt alone.

Like I did in this moment.
