AMARA’S POV

The water was warm. Too warm.

I do not think I have ever been dipped in such an amazing water temperature before. Every ache in my body soothed as my muscles relaxed. My eyelids grew heavier as I let out a breath I had no clue I was even holding.

I let my eyelids fall shut as I hugged my knees in the tub, letting the tranquilizing water wash through my pores. Caelan stood over the bath, pouring some sweet-scented soap and rose petals into the bath.
