*Mae*

Mae sat quietly on Henry’s window sill, staring out at the stars and the brilliant bright moon. Something in the glow of it gave her strength. She felt almost as if the Moon Goddess was smiling down on her. She took a deep breath and tried to remind herself how strong she had become.

“Are you alright?” Henry asked, closing the door behind him as he walked into the room from the adjoining bathroom.
