Brooke stared at her apartment in disbelief as Penn’s phone rang. She didn’t hear it so he wasn’t in his apartment. She’d called the cops, but she needed a friendlier face and Paige was on a date. She didn’t need to know about this and Brooke figured she’d have the place mostly cleaned up by the time her roommate came home.
