Andrew's POV
“Where is she?” I questioned, stepping out of the elevator. A tall man followed suit and behind him were three armed men.
“Lucus told me she's in the Hartwells' residence. And there was chaos when she got there.” Mark replied, adjusting his glasses.
My brows arched, and I asked. “By chaos… You mean?”
We took a left turn and that was when I caught sight of the crowd ahead.
“The guards refused to let her in” Mark's words were cut off by the noises ahead.
“Isn't that Andrew Steele?” A reporter popped out of the crowd pointing in my direction. Hearing the name, all heads turned towards me.
“It's him!” They squealed
“A moment Mr. Steele! We need your face on the camera!”
“Michael Jones reporting from MAS News, congratulations on your wedding. Mr. Steele, we would like to ask a few questions-”
“How do you feel finally becoming a married man?! Please give us an answer!”
Sigh, here goes another boring section.
“The lady must still be out the-” Mark's voice got swallowed by the noise
As I walked through, he pushed the crowd away. The flashlights blinded me, and I dropped my eyes to the floor
“We will continue this discussion later,” I replied.
Headlines will fill the internet if the reporters find out Lena has escaped.
Finally, after a few minutes, I was able to walk to the parking lot. My driver, Lucy, was already waiting, but the expression on her face was stoic.
“Greetings Mr. Andrew,” She bowed curtly. “You had a visitor.”
She stepped aside and opened the car door. I followed her gaze and saw a letter on the driver's seat.
I stepped inside the car and she shut the door. While opening the letter, I noticed the lack of an address on the body
And it read.
“Invitation to family dinner in the Main House. Bring this card with you and submit it for entry.”
And underneath it was a name I never expected to see. It was my mother's.
A soft sigh left my lips as a thought crossed my mind. “Does she know? If she finds out Lena's tied to the deal, it'll blow up in my face’
“Mark!” I called, and the window wound down.
“Yes, sir?”
“Tell Lucus to bring her home… and fast,” I said and he nodded.
He took out his phone from his pocket then left.

Tatiana's POV
“Lena's hiding?” The words forced out of my mouth. I scrambled to my feet and held her shoulders.
“I-is she safe? Did she get into an accident that made her lose her face or her body?” I asked, tears blurring my eyes. “Was that why she made me marry him?”My voice cracked, as sadness gripped my heart.
Mrs. Hartwell's face twisted ugly but nothing like remorse could be seen.
“I do not know.” She finally revealed and all the nerves in my body shut down.
“You must know! You know her! She's your daughter!” I screamed.
“And she's your friend!” She screamed, her mouth twitching. “Aren't friends supposed to be there for each other? Isn't that what you did? Have you forgotten what you told her?”
“W-what? I didn't tell her-” I tried to speak, but she cut me off rudely.
“If you do not want the marriage. Say it!”
“What?”
“You made my poor baby break down. She had been trained for this marriage for a long time and you ruined it!” She said through gritted teeth with a finger pointed at me. “I knew you would be a problem, that's why I asked Camille to remove your name from the guest list. Who knows you will sneak in.”
As her words echoed in my head droplets of tears fell to the floor. Was everything planned by her?
Did she fake her disappearance so her mum could find a replacement? And somehow… that replacement turned out to be me.
“Why?” I sobbed. “Why would Lena do that? We have been friends for a long time. How could she?”
My shoulders slumped as I covered my face, tears streaming down
“Magnus?” Mrs. Hartwell's voice sounded in my ears.
“Yes, ma'am?”
“Please, take her out before my husband returns.” She added.
Footsteps quickly approached me and a strong hand gripped my shoulders, dragging me out of the room
The guards pushed me out of the residence and one warned me to stay far away from there.
I sniffed, wiping the tears off my face. A chilling wind blew softly on my skin and I shivered slightly
Ugh, it's late already.
Where should I go?
I thought, walking to the bus station. I already escaped from Andrew, and do not plan on going back.
“The only person I can think of right now is Papa. It's been more than 13 hours since I last saw him. He must have had a lot of questions about my disappearance. What should I do?”
As I thought about it. I decided to give him a call.
However, just as I was about to turn on my phone. Noises behind me reached, and as I turned to see what was happening, a black wall blocked my vision.
And the last thing I heard was.
“Tell the boss we got her. Let's go before they find her!”
Is this kidnapping?!
