“King me.”

As soon as the words were out of my mouth, I saw fire flare in Mateo’s cinnamon swirled eyes.

“Are you sure you know what you’re asking for?” Mateo whispered, his breath feathering along my lips.

I dipped a glance down to Mateo’s lips, then looked back into his eyes. “Yes.”

Mateo captured my lips again, and I felt warmth pooling between my legs that had nothing to do with the water.
