I was jolted awake by the loud hum of the blender coming from downstairs. The sound was so intense, it almost felt like a machine was operating inside the house. Groggily, I blinked my eyes open and scanned my surroundings. I was lying in bed, comfortably tucked under the duvet. When I pulled it back, I realized I was completely naked beneath it.
