DARRAGH’S POV

The music pounded in my ears, but all I could think about was the look on Ciara's face when she'd stumbled away from me on the dance floor. Something had happened. A vision, maybe. The way her eyes had gone wide with terror, the way she'd pressed her hand to her mouth like she was holding back a scream.

She'd said she was fine. Said she just needed water. But I knew that look. I'd seen it before, right before everything went to hell.
