I give the umbrella to the beautiful woman and cross the street through the rain. I'm soaked by the time I reach the other side.

But my heart feels strangely calm. This is why I came here today, I think.

God knows I didn't want to be in this city on a rainy day.

But today was different. Lightning kept pushing at me, restless and insistent: 'You need to go there. You must. Hurry!'

I abandoned my work plans and drove here alone.
