I heard the sound of my phone blasting from the other end of the room, I dropped it on the couch while I picked snowball up, and completely forgot about it.

I felt my heart quickened as my eyes flickered in its direction, I wonder who could be calling me and why. Theron said he was going to handle things in the hospital, and I should talk to anyone about it, nevertheless, I still went to check.

It was my father.
