It’s been one long week since Alexander went on his business trip.

Seated on a bean bag sofa in my bedroom, I think back to that eventful night, on December 31st, as I stare at the picture frame in my hand. It’s the one he gave me. My eyes are glued only to his face. He’s staring at me, and I’m doing the same.
