“Okay. It’s none of my business…” I raise my hand briefly in surrender. “All you have to do is not kiss her until you’re ready to have sex with her…”

He uncrosses his legs and sits back. “But that’s all she asks me for. And–”

I slowly drop my eyes as I scribble again. Patience gets me answers sometimes. “You want to kiss her?”

He says nothing.

I lift my eyes and ask, “Do you want to kiss your fiancée, too?”

“Just once.”
