Sophia’s POV

He starts to move, arms around the small of my back, and I’m forced to move with him, desperately praying that I don’t trip.

The clapping gets even louder, with screams that send my heart leaping out of my chest.

Men in suits and women in evening dresses are waiting on the stage, smiling with so much eagerness. One man is holding a golden platter. On it sits a delicate, glass trophy, artfully sculpted.

I put a shaky hand over my mouth and drop it just as quickly.
