~Thorne Electronics, Headquarters~

Alexander holds my right hand as we approach the private entrance to his office. He holds my purse in his other hand.

My heart pounds dangerously while I listen to the soft sounds of our shoes hitting the tiles.

I didn’t see a single soul on our way here. So, it seems it’s just the two of us.
