Sophia’s POV

I turn the key twice.

He’s on his feet in a second, huge and tall, taking his time to walk out of his seat as I motion toward him. He spreads his arms wide.

And in three seconds, I put myself against him.

Strong arms close around me in a warm embrace.

“Good to see you again…” He says and snuggles tight. It forces a wince out of me—one he doesn’t notice. He’s busy stroking my back, shifting his arms lower to hug tighter.
