Alexander’s POV

“Mmm…” She shuts her mouth, simply turning her head to the other side as she remains asleep.

“Soph, wake up,” I utter, gripping her arms and pulling her to sit up.

Her eyes flicker partly open. Still holding her up with one hand, I rise from the floor, sit beside her, then grab her glasses from the nightstand. Deep in slumber, her head falls.

“Sophia?” I call with urgency, shaking her awake.
