Alexander’s POV

“Soph?” I grab her wrist just in time before she goes out the door, and in one swift movement, pull her toward me. Her body slams against my chest. Before she can think of escaping, my arms wrap around her firmly, keeping her glued to me.

“Let go of me.” She cries, thrashing, using her hands to push against my arms.
