So much warmth when I wake. What time is it? Is Mama alright? Did the hospital call?

Blinking the sleep from my eyes, I scoop up my phone and check it. No rings. I call the hospital and discover that Mama is fine. My hand gropes for Leo, whom I’ve been trying not to disturb.
