After a few moments, I felt Hunter's arms tighten around me.

"You should get some rest," Hunter murmured against my hair. "It's been a hell of a day."

I leaned back against his chest, savoring his warmth. "I'm not sure I can sleep. My mind keeps spinning."

"Try." He turned me in his arms, his eyes dark with concern. "For me. For the baby."

"Only if you come with me," I said. "I want you to hold me."
