My eyes trailed down to my wrist, my bare wrist. More than a week had passed since the bracelet broke and I hadn’t had any episodes or any pain since then.

Which was… a good thing.

But I just couldn’t stop thinking about it, what if my powers suddenly flare up out of the blue again? Or even got worse?
