“What’s wrong with her?” Draven demanded of the witch doctor as she stood up from the circle on the floor where she’d been sitting.

We got here about fifteen minutes ago and without even asking any questions, she instantly ushered us in and moved to sit on the floor as if she’d been expecting us.

Finally, she moved in front of me and just stood staring, her gaze was so piercing that it felt like she could see right through me.
