CONFRONTING SELENEThe corridor was cold, the kind of cold that feels like it’s biting into your bones. The torches were spaced far apart, flickering in the draft. Every time a flame dipped, the shadows stretched out like long, thin fingers reaching for us. My heart was thumping against my ribs so hard I thought Finn might hear it.
