Chapter 6

Prince Mathew.

Once we stepped inside the upper suite, Viola began roaming around, touching everything with wide-eyed excitement. "Wow, this place is incredible!" she gasped, running her fingers over a velvet couch.

"It's like a palace!" The suite was seriously luxurious-elegant furniture, fancy curtains, and artwork that probably cost more than my car. But even with all that beauty, I knew right then this wasn't going to be a relaxing vacation for me. Not with her around. Her energy was just too much.

Every little sound she made-every gasp, every giggle-was like a tiny distraction poking at my tired brain. I sighed quietly. There was no way I'd find any peace with her here. She was fun, yeah, but also a major interruption.

When she pulled back the curtains and spotted the small rooftop pool, she literally jumped up and down. "Oh my gosh, is that a real pool? Like, can we actually swim in it?" she asked, her voice bubbling with joy. Her eyes were shining like stars.

I forced a smile and nodded. "Yeah, of course! It's all yours. Do whatever you want, Viola." I wasn't about to set limits or tell her no-this was her time to have fun, and I meant what I said. I gave her my biggest, friendliest grin so she'd feel totally welcome.

She looked back at me, a little shy now, and mouthed, "Thank you." Her cheeks turned pink, and honestly? It made my heart soften. I was curious about her-really curious, especially about her dad-but more than anything, I wanted her to feel free.

I wanted these couple of days to be full of joy for her, not rules. Especially after what she told me earlier... that she'd barely ever left her room. It hit me then-she'd basically been living like a prisoner. She deserved some real fun, real laughter, real life. And I hadn't given her much so far. Letting her enjoy this suite and this pool was the least I could do.

I headed toward the closet to change, but she followed right behind me like a curious puppy. I turned and raised an eyebrow. "What? Why are you following me around?" She just smirked and shrugged.

"Where else am I supposed to go? This is way more interesting than staring at walls!" I shook my head, half annoyed, half amused. "I don't know-find something else! I need to change, okay?" She crossed her arms and stuck out her chin. "Nope, I'm staying. This big fancy room is kind of lonely. I don't wanna be by myself."

I frowned. "Viola, listen. I'm gonna take all my clothes off and hop in the shower. You really don't need to see that. I'm not gonna be that kind of daddy for you, alright?" She narrowed her eyes, a playful spark flashing in them.

"You know what? That actually sounds fun. I wanna shower and change too... except I don't have any clothes." She lifted her hands like, see my problem?

Then it hit me-I'd totally forgotten I promised we'd go shopping. I sighed and rubbed my forehead. "You're right, I'm sorry. I forgot. Look, I'm exhausted tonight. Can you just borrow something of mine for now? I swear we'll go first thing tomorrow." She shook her head, a sly smile on her face.

"I don't need pajamas. I already told you-I sleep naked." My mouth fell open. I thought she was joking, but she wasn't laughing. "No, absolutely not! There's only one bed! And I don't even know where you're sleeping!" I said, my voice firm.

She giggled softly. "Relax, I'll sleep in the same bed as you! But first..." Her eyes lit up. "We should go jump in that pool! Come on, it'll be fun!" Before I could even process what was happening, she grabbed my hand and started pulling me toward the roof. "Take your clothes off!" she said, laughing. I just stared, totally stunned, until she said it again: "Seriously, stop staring and get undressed!"

And then-I don't even know how it happened-she started stripping right in front of me. Off came her shirt, her skirt... until she was standing there in just a bra and G-string. Her skin looked soft and pink under the evening light, and my body reacted before my brain could catch up. My heart was pounding. My dick stirred in my pants. What is wrong with me? Why does she have this effect on me?

I was still staring when she pushed me straight into the pool. A second later, she jumped in too, laughing like a little kid. She swam right up to me, wrapped her arms around my neck, and whispered, "I told you to take off your clothes."

Something in me just snapped. I pulled her close and kissed her-hard. My tongue begged for entry, and she didn't resist. The kiss turned wild and hungry, like some animal instinct had taken over.

I pinned her against the edge of the pool, my body pressed against hers. My hands slid over her back, pulling her closer. I was hard, aching for her, completely lost in the moment.

She didn't pull away. Instead, she held me tighter, breathing heavily into my mouth. But then, like a bucket of ice water, reality crashed down on me.

What am I doing? I broke the kiss and pulled back, staring at her with anger and confusion. She looked back at me, her eyes wide with surprise and want-and maybe a little worry.
