Chris patted the bathroom counter and Asa hopped up, holding his t-shirt in between his teeth.

Seven days since the run, two since he saw Xolo, he expected Asa’s wounds to heal by now.

Chris’ own wounds rarely lasted more than three days.

Although, Chris couldn’t recall ever having wounds as deep as Asa’s.
