Introduction
Two years into their marriage, Lan Xiaoxiao discovered that she was heartbroken by Fu Shijun. While she was near death due to premature birth, he was abroad enjoying a carefree life under his ex-girl friend. After faking her death, Lan Xiaoxiao decided to live for herself, raising her children with great joy and pursuing her career. It was only when that man discovered her and forcibly brought her back that she realized he had also taken one of her children! This escalated the conflict—ex-husband, we're not done yet! Eldest child: “My mom has many admirers. Dad, you’ll have to wait your turn.” Second child: “I want to stay with Mom.” Third baby: “I still prefer Mom.” Three adorable babies all favor their mom over their dad? That won't do! Chapter 1 Being Dead May Be Even Better

"Divorce? I disagree!" The old lady sat on the leather sofa and called her grandson, Fu Shijun, but she didn't notice that Lan Xiaoxiao had come out of the room. She was so angry that her face turned red. She scolded harshly, "You and that woman have been living a happy life abroad this year. Have you ever thought about how Xiaoxiao feels? She has been alone since she was pregnant. This time, you must come back and accompany her to give birth!"

Lan Xiaoxiao was eight months pregnant. She stood there and clenched her fists tightly, with her face deadly pale.

Since her pregnancy, Fu Shijun, her husband, had been traveling abroad. She initially assumed he was busy with work, but little did she know he was accompanying another woman.

Furthermore, he intended to divorce her.

The voice of Fu Shijun came faintly from the phone.

"Something happened to Gu Ning. I have to stay here with her."

"Bastard! What should Xiaoxiao and the children in her belly do?" Mrs. Fu was livid about her grandson's words. "You're irresponsible. I won't allow the children of the Fu family to behave like this."

Fu Shijun sneered, "Grandma, it's all your fault. If you didn't send her to my room while she and I got drunk at my birthday party, she wouldn't have been pregnant."

The moment they got married, he had decided to divorce her. Lan Xiaoxiao was not the person he wanted to marry.

Lan Xiaoxiao was on the verge of collapse with the children in her belly. Her face was as pale as a paper. During the two years they were married, Fu Shijun was always indifferent to her and prevented her from getting close to him, let alone had sex with her.

She thought that she had melted his stone heart, so they had a good time that night. However, she didn't know that it wasn't what he wanted.

Fu Shijun's cold voice came from the phone, "You deliberately kept it from me until she became pregnant and was about to give birth. Grandma, ever since you forced me to marry her, you should have anticipated such a day."

"Anyhow, I want a divorce. As for the children... it's up to you."

When the Nanny Liu came out of the kitchen, she saw Lan Xiaoxiao standing not far away with a stream of blood flowing down her slender legs. She screamed in panic, "Blood! Lan Xiaoxiao is streaming with blood!"

The next moment, Lan Xiaoxiao fell to the ground. Before she fainted, she suddenly felt relieved.

The Fu family was momentarily in chaos.

After sending her to the hospital, Mrs. Fu anxiously waited outside the operating room. After three hours of hard work, the doctor walked out and said regretfully, "The expectant mother suffered a massive hemorrhage, and she was unwilling to live. We have tried our best. Only one out of the three children has survived."

Hearing this, Mrs. Fu suddenly fell backwards. Luckily, Nanny Liu promptly supported her. Mrs. Fu choked out with red eyes. "Mrs. Fu, I'm sorry."

After receiving the news in M Country, Fu Shijun suddenly fell onto the sofa and was stunned for a few seconds.

"I'm sorry, Shijun." Gu Ning was lying on the hospital bed, looking worried. When Fu Shijun didn't notice her, a smug smile flashed through her eyes. It was good that Lan Xiaoxiao was dead. Now, Gu Ning had nothing to worry.

Gu Ning lowered her head and blamed herself. "It's all my fault. If I didn't be distracted, I wouldn't be hit by a car. Then you could have gone back to accompany Lan Xiaoxiao to have the children."

Fu Shijun frowned. From his indifferent voice, no one could tell whether he was happy, angry, or sad.

"Take a good rest here. I'll ask Zhao Yi to stay with you."

Since Lan Xiaoxiao was dead, he had to go back. However, given Gu Ning's injuries, he couldn't go back instantly.

Gu Ning pretended to be obedient and nodded considerately. "Yes, you should promptly return to deal with the situation."

A day later, Fu Shijun returned to the country. He only saw two urns, one big and one small.

Mrs. Fu was in no mood for scolding him. She asked Nanny Liu to give him a medical report.

"Xiaoxiao is afflicted with prenatal depression. She concealed it from everyone because she didn't want us to worry."

"You're right, Shijun. It's all my fault. I killed Xiaoxiao."

Looking at his grandmother, who was crying with guilt, Fu Shijun felt depressed. He clenched the report in his hand. The blue veins on the back of his hand showed how hard he clenched it. It seemed that he wanted to crush it.

He didn't like Lan Xiaoxiao, but he didn't expect her to die.

Five years later, in a famous business building in M Country, a confident, calm, and beautiful woman was giving a speech on the rostrum. She was introducing her design concept in fluent English. Her palm-sized and delicate face made her look like a perfect artwork that had been carefully made. Her almond-shaped eyes seemed to be shining with starlight.

"The above is the Xinghai Series designed by me. Welcome to comment."

Someone took the lead in applauding, and then the applause burst out.

Lan Xiaoxiao had changed her name to Lan Yin. She smiled slightly and exuded confidence. After the applause, a middle-aged man with blond hair and blue eyes stood up.

"Lan Yin, your design is so amazing. I believe you will win more applause at Fashion Week."

Lan Yin smiled modestly and said, "You are flattering me. It's not only my contribution but also my team's efforts. They helped me complete this series of designs day and night."

"You are so great. It's our honor to have such great designers like you. Oh, by the way, our new boss will come from Z Country to have a party with us tomorrow. Lan Yin, you should join us."

Lan Yin nodded in agreement.

Five years ago, she came to M Country and studied here for two years. She successfully joined the top five listed company in the fashion industry and became a fashion designer.

After three years of hard work, she had became the manager of the design department from a small designer. Now she managed a team, and her annual salary increased by several times. Therefore, she and her children could live a happy life.

Last month, the former boss suddenly sold the company in one go. As for who he sold it to, Lan Yin only knew that it was the top rich man in Z Country. Because she only focused on design, she did not pay much attention to these matters.

But she didn't expect the new boss to be someone she didn't want to see in her life. She didn't know that her peaceful life would be thrown into thunder from then on, making her unable to cope.

Lan Yin came home after shopping. As soon as the door opened, a baby lunged to hug her legs.

"Mommy, I miss you so much."

It had only been merely eight hours since they last met.

Lan Yin caressed the little head of Yueyue with a gentle and pampering expression.

"Did you do something wrong at school today?"

"No!" Yueyue immediately stood upright and promised, "Absolutely not."

She was a good girl.

The little girl's round eyes rolled twice. Her nose was small and straight, and her little mouth was red like a cherry. Her hair was made into two small braids, which looked very cute, but there was a hint of naughtiness in her cuteness.

"Mommy, my sister stirred up a hornet's nest in the kindergarten."

A little boy bearing a resemblance to Yueyue approached and grabbed the food from his Mommy's hand.
