Introduction
Aishi and Mu Jingpei came from entirely different worlds. The first time Aishi saw Mu Jingpei, she struggled to find a word to describe him—"elegant" was the best she could muster. He appeared in her world like a god, lifting her out of hardship. As she followed him, she witnessed a life of carefree indulgence. At their parting, she gathered the courage to confess her feelings, only to be met with his dismissive smile and rejection: "Do you even know what love is?" From that moment, Aishi buried her feelings deep within her heart. Four years later, they reunited, and she had become a celebrated race car driver. Mu Jingpei cautiously pursued her from behind. Everyone knew that their "Pei Ge" harbored a fairy in his heart, a sweet soul who drove race cars. When faced with his advances, Aishi responded coldly, "Mr. Mu, I'm sorry. Back then, I mistook my dependence for love, causing you trouble." At that moment, Mu Jingpei could no longer smile, his heart aching with pain.

Chapter 1 A Daughter Sent by God for Him

Circuit de Catalunya was a must-go place for auto racing fans to visit in Barcelona, Spain.

Just now, the final of the Formula Renault European Cup 2.0 was completed in this field, which was the best track in the world.

At the end of the season, the championship was announced. The second place on the ranking was a rare Asian face, who was also a woman.

Although she only won the second place in this season, this was also the best result that the Chinese drivers had achieved in the last few years of the Formula Renault 2.0. It was worthy of celebration.

At the end of the award ceremony, many media reporters were interviewing the drivers.

Aixi could already face the camera calmly.

"Aixi, congratulations on winning the second place and entering F3 next season." The reporter who interviewed Aixi was a reporter from the domestic sports channel and the only domestic media on the spot.

Racing was not popular in the country. Even the F1 race, which was called the "three major sports in the world" with the World Cup and Olympics, was not be paid much attention to in the domestic.

"Thank you." The heavy racing suit made Aixi's face look small, only the size of a palm, delicate and beautiful.

Her eyes were big and clear, giving the impression of harmless, but she looked serious and cool.

Outside the crowd of drivers, a Chinese man wearing a cap was looking at her.

He leaned against the railing of the encirclement with his legs crossed. His posture was a little undisciplined, and he was tall among the Europeans. Most of his face was hidden in the shadow of the brim of his hat, and only the outline of his jawbone could be seen, as well as the smile on his face.

There were so many people coming and going, but all he could see was a slender figure.

The reporter continued to ask, "Will you come home during the next holiday?"

At the mention of returning home, Aixi was very happy. "Of course. I haven't returned home for a long time. I'm eager to return."

"What's your plan for the vacation?"

"Take a break for a while and go to teach."

Aixi noticed that someone was looking at her. The gaze was so intense that it was almost tangible.

She couldn't help but turn her head, but she didn't see anything but fleeting figure.

She felt very strange, and her eyes stayed on the place where the figure disappeared for a few seconds.

"Do you have any new goals after entering F3?"

The reporter's question made her retract her gaze.

"Of course, I'll work hard and get enough F1 super driver's license points to sign a contract with a Team F1." Speaking of this, her eyes were bright.

Her goal was F1, and it had always been.

Three days later, at Barcelona Airport.

Aixi was waiting for her agent, Xie Jun, in the VIP room.

She was bored and looked around. Her eyes were attracted by a big screen and she unconsciously walked over.

It was a piece of news about the award ceremony that was held in Barcelona the day before yesterday. There was a Chinese man in a black suit in the picture of the news. He had won the best editing award and was giving an award speech on the stage.

Even though the man's face was enlarged by the airport screen, his facial features were still perfect without any flaws. There was a faint smile at the corner of his mouth, which made him look very calm. He had a unique charm of mature men.

There was a line of text below which said, "He has a pair of hands that have been blessed by God."

Not far from the big screen, two men and a woman were walking over. All three of them were Chinese.

One of the men with glasses looked at the screen and said discontentedly, "I also went up to receive the award. Why are you the only one on the news, Jingpei!"

The other man looked down at his phone, and the glass next to him reflected his tall figure.

He didn't even raise his head and said casually, "Because people from the TV station also look at a person's face." He was the man who was speaking in the news, Mu Jingpei.

"I don't think it's good for you to praise yourself for being handsome so bluntly, Jingpei?"

"You can understand it in another way," Mu Jingpei said in a perfunctory tone.

In other words, didn't it mean that the bespectacled man was not good-looking!

The bespectacled man was very unhappy. Just as he was about to speak, he saw a familiar figure standing in front of the big screen.

He let out a cry of surprise and said excitedly, "Hey, Jingpei, isn't that..."

The tall woman beside them gave a harrumph. "The one sent by the heavens to take him in."

Mu Jingpei stopped swiping his mobile phone and finally raised his head. His eyes moved slightly, showing his emotions.

In the crowd, her figure looked particularly slender, and her face was illuminated by the cold light from the screen.

At the end of the news, Aixi came to her senses and thought of the figure she had glanced at after the competition three days ago.

She subconsciously took a step back, wanting to leave this place that distracted her, but her back hit a warm chest.

He supported her with one hand.

"Be careful."

Aixi stiffened when she heard the low and deep voice accompanied by hot air. She slowly raised her head and saw a familiar face. " Mu Jingpei?"

Mu Jingpei saw her reaction, and the casualness turned into tenderness. He said, " Aixi, long time no see."

This was the first time they officially met in four years.

Seeing him, Aixi already had an answer in her heart. The figure in the playground three days ago was Mu Jingpei.

Realizing that she was still in his arms, she pushed him away, took a step back, and said lightly, "What a coincidence."

Her alienated look made Mu Jingpei freeze the smile on his face.

The bespectacled man broke the silence and greeted Aixi. "Hello, Aixi, I'm Wen Qiu."

Aixi ignored Mu Jingpei, who was staring at her. She blinked and asked Wen Qiu, "Do you know me?"

"Of course. The wallpaper of our boss's mobile phone and computer are full of your photos. It's hard not to recognize you." As soon as Wen Qiu finished speaking, he felt a cold gaze sweeping over him and immediately shut his mouth.

The tall woman who was with them said, "That's right. This bastard also regrets it for four years."

Wen Qiu silently gave a thumbs-up in his heart. This was simply a typical case of love turning into hatred. Sure enough, women were not easy to deal with.

Mu Jingpei said, "Aixi -"

"Mr. Mu." Aixi interrupted him.

Mu Jingpei was stunned by the alienated title and he was not used to it.

In the past, she used to call him Mu Jingpei in a crisp voice.

Aixi looked up, and her jawline was a little tight. She said seriously, "Mr. Mu, I haven't had a chance to apologize to you all these years. Four years ago, I was ignorant and mistakenly regarded dependence as love, which caused you trouble."

Just dependence?

At this moment, Mu Jingpei finally understood how Aixi had felt when she had confessed her love to him at Pudong Airport in Shanghai but he had rejected her with a smile.

Disappointment and frustration.

Heart ached.
