Complaints went through the cabin, mixed with the sound from the radio. Then, Leo was awakened from sleep. After figuring out what happened, he couldn't help frowning.
This flight had been delayed for nearly two hours before finally taking off. Yet now it was about to return to its place of departure. Everything went wrong today. He should have read the Horoscope fortune before leaving.
Looking at his watch, he found that it had already past nine o'clock in the evening. He couldn't attend tomorrow's meeting in time. Leo sighed and shook his head helplessly.
Since the plane hadn't been flying for long and needed fuel consumption to return, it took another two hours before landing on the runway of Samburg Airport.
Leo called Mr. Andrew upon getting off the plane. Mr. Andrew is his direct leader. He is an affable man who treats his subordinates like an elder brother.
Having figured out his situation, Mr. Andrew said readily, " It doesn't matter. Sophie is on a business trip near Singapore. I will ask her to go there overnight. You're so tired today, quickly go back to relax."
Sophie is Leo's junior female schoolmate. Her full name is Sophie Delaney. She graduated three years later than Leo, but they came to Eastwin Global Pte. Ltd at the same time. Due to the same alma mater, the two new employees looked after each other and built a close relationship with each other.
Petite and cute, Sophie has a rather straightforward temperament, making no secret of her appreciation and admiration to Leo. Before he got married, she has confessed her love boldly and almost scared him away.
It wasn't until Leo got married that Sophie Delaney suppressed her feelings. Now, only friendship remained between them. They became close friends after all...
After arranging his work, Leo flipped through WhatsApp and clicked on his wife's portrait first.
"Have you arrived, my dear? Just let me know when you arrive so I can feel reassured."
Leo smiled. As a 28-year-old man, he married his beloved woman Vivian two years ago, living happily with a perfect marriage.
Vivian is a music teacher of a primary school, beautiful, sexy, genial and virtuous.
His male friends all admired him a lot, saying he was lucky enough to marry such a pretty and kind wife.
Leo also felt quite proud, and even a little complacency about this.
He changed his mind just before telling his wife the truth, and replied, grinning, "I have already arrived in Singapore. Don't worry, dear, everything is ok."
The reply came soon, "Okay, I see. It's too late. Have an early rest! I'll go to sleep now."

After sending the message, Leo walked out of the terminal building. He planned to give his wife a surprise. Thinking of Vivian's startled expression, he couldn't help smiling.
Upon getting outside of the terminal building, the phone in his hand rang. It was from Sophie Delaney. Needless to guess, she was calling for some benefits.
“What's up? It’s so late yet you are still awake." Leo answered the phone and asked directly.
"Why I have to be on travel Leo? I'm doing errands for you, okay? Could you please be more polite to me?" Sophie Delaney replied with dissatisfaction.
"So it's you! Madam Delaney!" Leo said teasingly.
"Madam Delaney helped me with such a big favor today. From now on, you'll be my grandma, my timely rain, does that satisfy you? Or I can give you higher position in Delaney family hierarchy."
