Introduction
Five years later, she returns with her two Kids, now a renowned medical company leader. As she strolls through the park with her children, she suddenly runs into their father. Her first instinct? To hide! But he swiftly grabs her elbow, his voice low and intense: “Rowena, your daughter and son look so much like me! You can’t deny they’re mine!” Avoiding his piercing gaze, she swallows hard. “It’s just a coincidence.” Just then, her little daughter, Mia, rushes over, her face scrunched in anger. “Mommy, you’re lying! Last night, you told me not to say Daddy is Daddy!” At this, he smirks, a glint of triumph in his eyes. “Still trying to deny it?” She wants to escape, but he pulls her closer, forcing her to meet his gaze. “This time, no matter what, I won’t let you go.”

Chapter 1 I Will Be Gentle

In the presidential private room of Century Springs Hotel.

"Beep."

A ray of light suddenly fell from the door of the darkroom.

Rowena Gale nervously pinched the corner of her pajamas. Her forehead was covered in rivulets of cold sweat as she stared at the man seated on the bed.

Sebastian Laird.

A silk scarf was tied around his eyes, accentuating his sharp facial contours. Even in the dim light, one could still see that the man had delicate facial features. His cold and cheerless face was facing Rowena as his thin lips curved into a slight smile,

"Rosa, since when do you like to play this?” Sebastian's voice was casual, yet taunting.

Her nails straightly dug into her palms, but she did not answer Sebastian's question. Instead, she took a slow step forward and put her hands around the man's neck stiffly. She closed her eyes and kissed him gently.

Their lips pressed against each other, stirring up a wave of passion.

A cold and refreshing scent of the man's body invaded Rowena's senses. He turned over and pressed her under him. His lips and tongue pried open her teeth and forcefully broke through all the barriers in her mouth.

Rowena's cheeks flushed red, her breath coming in short gasps as Sebastian's kiss left her whole body weak and trembling.

In the dark, his scarf suddenly slid down. Rowena was shocked and she noticed that he wanted to turn on the light. She hurriedly said, "Don't!"

As soon as the voice slipped out, Rowena's expression froze for a moment. She tried to soften her voice as much as possible. She said in a trembling voice, "I...I'm just shy..."

"Alright."

"Rosa, I will be gentle. You can relax." Sebastian felt the fear in her voice. He stopped and stroked her face comfortingly.

"Hmm..."

It wasn’t until the middle of the night, after exhausting herself completely, that Rowena finally heard the sound of steady breathing from the man beside her, who held her in his arms, signaling he had fallen asleep.

She slightly lifted her eyes. The man's chin and thin lips were close within reach. The bridge of his nose was high, and his long eyelashes cast a faint shadow on his face. He was undoubtedly handsome.

However, this had nothing to do with her.

Restraining the emotions in her eyes, she forced herself to get up, put on her pajamas, took the room card, tapped it on the door of the adjacent room, and entered.

Inside the room, a woman in the same pajamas as hers was playing on her mobile phone. Hearing the noise, she immediately looked up. Her face, which strongly resembled Rowena's, was filled with expectation, "How was it?"

“It’s done."

Rowena said casually and straightened her back with a stubborn glint in her eyes.

Rosalind looked at Rowena with disdain, then pointed at the water and pills on the table, "Take the pills."

After saying that, she turned around and was about to return to the adjacent room when Rowena grabbed her by the arm.

"What do you mean?" She asked angrily, glaring at Rowena, "Do you want to go back on your words?"

Rowena's expression was slightly cold as she stood still, "The money?"

"My dad has already got the money at home. You can leave." Rosalind pulled back, rolled her eyes at Rowena, and muttered in a low voice, "Haven't you ever seen money, you country bumpkin?"

The door was slammed shut, and the empty room returned to silence.

Over a decade ago, Rowena's parents divorced. Her younger sister Rosalind, who was just a year younger, went with their father, while Rowena and her mother were kicked out.

Later, their father remarried his mistress, and Rosalind was spoiled beyond belief, becoming the most envied socialite in Celeston City.

Meanwhile, Rowena juggled part-time jobs while studying. Just when she was about to finish college and life seemed to be improving, her mother was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Now, with no money for treatment, her mother was lying in the hospital, unable to even afford the surgery.

Just when they were at their wit's end, her father and sister found her. They told her that if she sacrificed her virginity to stand in for her sister for one night, keeping the engagement between her sister and the heir of the Laird family intact, they would give her 300,000.

What else could she do?

Rosalind's private life was extremely chaotic. This was not something that could be known by the noble Laird family. If not for the fact that he had slight night blindness, Rowena would not even have the chance to be a substitute.

"Heh." Rowena curved her lips and laughed at herself. She picked up the pills on the table and swallowed them in a mouthful of cold water.

Crescent Moon Bay, the famous brownstone district of Celeston City. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, every plot of it was extremely expensive.

It had just rained today. The air was damp and the surface of asphalt pavement was steaming with sticky water vapor. Rowena stood at the door in her pajamas and shivered.

"Miss Gale," the maid opened the door, looked at Rowena who seemed completely out of place, and said with contempt, "Come with me."

In the magnificent hall, the crystal lights were shining brightly. Howard Gale was sitting on the leather sofa reading the newspaper. If she hadn't known his true face, she would have really thought that he was a successful entrepreneur.

Rowena stood under the light, her back straight. Her gorgeous face was not covered by the cheap clothes at all. Instead, she was full of pride. She got straight to the point, "Money."

Hearing her voice, Howard hurriedly got up, looking impatient, "Is everything done?"

"Yes."

Howard's heart relaxed, and a hint of joy appeared on his face. He suddenly thought of something and his eyes became stern, "Have you taken the pills?"

"Yes."

After getting the answer he wanted, Howard's heart was completely relieved, and his face could not help but be ecstatic.

If he managed to get the backing of a powerful patron like the Laird family, he would not have to worry about how to get into the celebrity circle!

At that time, many people would be willing to curry favor with him!

"Well done." The smile on Howard's face grew bigger and bigger. He happily picked up his cigar and took a puff. Then, he seemed to have remembered something, "Oh right, the hospital called yesterday afternoon. Your mother died."

In an instant, Rowena felt as if she was struck by lightning.

Dead?

It happened yesterday!

Rowena trembled all over. She clutched her palms tightly before she managed to regain a trace of reason from the extreme pain, "So you just want to use me?"

"So what?" A hint of impatience appeared on Howard's heartless face, "You should be glad that you still have some value. Otherwise, you wouldn't even be able to get this little bit of money."

Rowena was so angry that her entire body was trembling like an angry lion, "What I want is not money!"

Without her mother, what was the use of her having more money!

"It's a waste of money for her to live!" Howard threw the bank card in front of her and looked at her with disgust, "Get out of here."

"I told you! What I want is not money!" She lunged at Howard, "Since my mother died, I won't let you have a good time!"

However, before she could get close, she was stopped by the bodyguards. Their hard fists landed on her body severely.

Howard's expression was cold as he looked down at her, "I was planning to let you live for two more days, but you don't know how to appreciate favors. Deal with her."

"Yes, sir!"

Rowena did not seem to feel the pain coming from inside her body. She only stared fiercely at Howard. Her eyes were filled with despair and madness. She was like the Hell Asura. Anyone who looked at her would be shocked.

The sky was gloomy. The lightning and thunder had been forming for a long time. But in an instant, accompanied by the pouring rain, they fiercely smashed down.
