The Front Desk Girl
After graduating high school, I got a part-time job at a hotel front desk.
Around 3 AM during my first overnight shift,
Melissa stormed in with a crowd of people recording on their phones,
demanding to know her husband's room number.
I strictly followed guest privacy policy,
refusing to give out any information no matter how much they pressed me.
The livestream blew up on social media, and I got labeled as "the other woman's accomplice." People doxxed me, spreading all my personal information online.
The hotel manager showed up and fired me immediately.
The ironic part? Melissa ended up getting back together with her cheating husband.
But my family kept getting harassed - vandals spray-painted our house and smashed our windows. I couldn't go anywhere without people pointing and whispering.
My mom, my only family, committed suicide trying to prove my innocence.
Heartbroken, I followed the same path.
Then I opened my eyes - I was back to that night when Melissa came storming in.
