Introduction
Synopsis Everyone in the Billionaire society knew about the broken heart of Tony, who lost his girlfriend, Katarina — the one he was head-over-heels obsessed with. Now he is married to Amore, the woman who bears his name (Powers). But he has not forgotten the hatred he has for her, following the incident that led to the death of his girlfriend — the one he believes she killed in cold blood. “Am I his woman, his wife, or just some pawn in his dirty game?” Amore asks herself when it seems the face of Katarina lingers still — through her sister, Samantha. Samantha surfaces with more wicked tricks, more evil than her sister, who looked so sweet and calm but was a devil hidden in an angel’s white. “All those years I had hoped he would one day turn to me, but… with that kiss— is it just her face that has taken Tony’s attention, or is there something else? Does he love her? Because she is determined to take him from me at all cost.” Now am left with switching the fake papers to the real one. Amore finally realizes, seeing that face — the spitting image of Katarina — the truth she had long ignored: He never loved me. He never will. He was only obsessed with his ex-girlfriend. I was just a pawn in their twisted game.

CHAPTER ONE

Chapter 1As Amore powers walked into the private room, she saw her husband, Tony Anthon powers(III), lounging on the sofa, a young, pretty woman snuggling against him.

The moment she saw Amore, she snatched a document from the table and threw it across the room. "I'm three months pregnant," she said with a smug smile. "The doctor says it's a boy. If you've got any sense, go file for divorce."

Amore picked up the document, her eyes falling on the words that confirmed the pregnancy.

"Come on," she said evenly. "It's not too late. You can still get this taken care of at the hospital today."

"How dare you! This is Mr. Powers' firstborn, the future heir," the woman snapped, face twisted in shock. She leapt to her feet and swung at Amore.

Amore caught her wrist and shoved her aside in one smooth motion.

Her expression stayed gentle, but her eyes were icy. "Future heir? Didn't Tony tell you he had a contraceptive shot and a vasectomy? So how exactly did you get pregnant?"

"You're lying! He'd never do a vasectomy!" The woman turned to Knox, panicked. "Mr. Powers', tell me she's making this up."

Tony cast her a disdainful glance, a faint smile on his lips as he replied coldly, "She's telling the truth. I did have the procedure. So how did it happen? Asexual reproduction? Divine intervention?"

The sarcasm hit the woman like a slap.

"I..." She froze, her mouth opening, but no words came out.

Then she broke down, crying hysterically. "I'm sorry, Mr. Powers. I lied... I only did it because I love you so much. I just want to be with you forever."

Amore clicked her tongue. Seeing the woman keep the act up, she called in the bodyguards and had her thrown out.

"Harsh as ever," Tony said, lighting a cigarette. "You've made that pretty girl cry." Smoke curled around him, obscuring his handsome face.

Amore came closer, took the cigarette from his fingers, and leaned down until their eyes met.

"She wouldn't have to cry. As long as you're okay with her playing that dirty trick with a face resembling Katarina's."

Tony's face hardened with anger. "You don't get to say her name!"

"Why not?" Amore asked.

Having given in for too long, she finally had had enough. Her anger snapped through her voice. "I'll say it again. I didn't push Katarina. She fell on purpose to frame me. Her death was a result of her own actions! I'm not responsible! And you don't get to use it to punish me!"

"Enough!" Tony hissed.

"Fine. If you won't listen, I'll show you." She dropped into his lap, yanked off his shirt, and tossed it in the trash.

"It's dirty. That's where it belongs."

Tony sneered. "There's always another."

Amore's fingers trembled. She knew he meant another woman.

Throughout their two-year marriage, she was constantly getting rid of the women around Tony, a task that came up every couple of days.

Each of the girls had something about them—eyes, lips—that reminded him of Katarina.

And all of them were brought in to humiliate and hurt Amore.

Amore looked determined. "Then I'll keep throwing them out. But you have to make it up to me—spend the night with me."

"What makes you think I'll do that?" Tony said, shoving her off. Then he stood up and headed for the door.

"Tony," Amore called out, reclining on the sofa. "Aren't you afraid I'll go to your grandpa and have him send Samantha away?"

Samantha Feathers was Katarina feather's younger sister. She wasn't as young, pretty, or well-bred as Amore, yet her resemblance to Katarina was enough for Tony to keep her hidden away, as though she were a precious jewel.

Without warning, Tony grabbed Amore by the throat. He smiled, but his eyes burned with malice.

"Amore, you'd better behave. Or I can't promise what I'll do.
