“They’re back together?” Olivia’s eyes widened in surprise.down indifferently at the sobbing Jessica lying on the floor. With his low but commanding voice, he said, “Let's go downstairs. I’ll take you to the hospital.”

Jessica didn't expect that Alexander would offer to take her personally. She could feel pain in her hand but her mind was bubbling up with joy. She managed to suppress a smile that wanted to spread across her face. She kept her head bowed, feigning misery as she followed him.
As they walked out, the secretarial department buzzed with astonishment
“Oh my god, the CEO is personally taking Jessica to the hospital. When did he become so considerate?” one employee whispered.
“It looks like the CEO has forgiven Jessica. We should probably treat the future Mrs. Feingold with more respect from now on,” another employee murmured.

Jessica managed to get over it and kept talking. “Because of the cancellation of our engagement, several business partners have stopped contacting me. I’m planning to host a banquet this weekend to invite them over. Would you come?”
She looked at him expectantly, waiting for a response, but Alexander gave none. Tears began welling up in her eyes. “If you don’t come, they’ll laugh at me,” she said with a trembling voice.

Getting back to Emperor Enterprises, Alexander parked at the entrance. . “Your car is over there. Drive yourself back to your office.”
Jessica knew when to stop pushing. She obediently got out of the car and flashed him a sweet smile. “Drive safely.”
