"What...what are you doing, Simon?" Hazel stuttered, her eyes darting everywhere but into Simon's eyes.
"You are pushing me into temptation, Haze. You're slowly turning me into a sinner."
His huge, calloused hand ran smoothly down Hazel's cheeks, leaving her breathless.
"You...you are my stepbrother," Hazel said.
"And?" Simon asked, raising an eyebrow.
"And, you have a daughter, Simon. I...I can't do this," Hazel replied, shaking her head.
"Look into my eyes, Haze, and tell me you don't want me."

The death of Hazel's stepdad marked the beginning of something sinful for her.
After the burial, her mother sold the house where Hazel was supposed to live after spending five years in California.
Left stranded by her own mother, Hazel had nowhere to go except her step-brother's home.
Thinking she could stay with Simon temporarily until she found an apartment, Hazel discovered that living with him brought out forbidden thoughts she once had about him.

HAZEL CAYON: She is twenty-one years old with chestnut hair and blue eyes.
She just graduated from college and returned to Ireland upon hearing the death of her step-dad.
SIMON VENETI: He is a thirty-three years single dad, whose wife died after three years of birthing their daughter.
Simon loved his wife, but after her death, he became cold and almost dead and emotionless on the inside.
He is a Mafia Boss under the Bratva and one of the strongest man in the Irish mafia.
RYDER COLTON: He is thirty-years of age, with black eyes, jet black hair and chiseled jawline.
He is the second male lead who fell in love with Hazel and would do anything to make her reciprocate his feelings.
HOSANNA BLADE: She is thirty-one years old and also the dead wife of Simon.
She was twenty-eight years when she faked her death so she could go leave with her boyfriend.
PIPER RHODES: She is fifty-seven years of age and also the mother of Hazel.
After the death of her husband, Simon's father, she sold the house they all once lived in, squandering it on younger men.
Sleeping around, going on trips across the world with the money gotten from the house she sold.

PLOT OUTLINE
PLOT SUMMARY:
Hazel had it in mind never to return to Ireland after what happened five years back with her step-brother.
Five years back, Hazel developed feelings for her step-brother, who as at then, had a fiancée.
On the night of their engagement party, she drank so much and dragged her feet towards her step-brother. She confessed her feelings for him and begged him desperately not to continue the marriage with his fiancée, but Simon, her step-brother, rejected her in the most cruelest way ever.
He told her to go find someone else, as he was already getting married to the love of his life.
Hazel cried herself to sleep and when she woke up the next morning, without informing her parents and step-brother ahead, she decided to leave for California, informing them after she was gone.
Well, she only informed her mother and her stepdad, who was a father to her. He treated her better than her mother could ever.
After the cruel rejection, Hazel never spoke to her step-brother and only found out about his marriage on social media.
She moved on and continued her study in California for five years, until the sudden death of her stepdad, Lorenzo.
Her mother, Mika, called her, informing her of the death of her stepdad and she should return to pay her last due respect towards the deceased.
Returning to Ireland was kind of hard for Hazel, but she returned because of the love and care she had for her late step-dad.
Upon arrival, she found her Mom, on the lap of a man, kissing and touching her.
She was very angry and threatened to inform Simon about it, knowing fully well that they've not spoken for five years.
Mika slapped Hazel for suspecting her of the death of her husband.
Out of anger, Hazel turned around with her luggages, heading to her friend's place to pass the night, as she couldn't stand the sight of her mother.
The next day, Lorenzo was laid to rest at the cemetery and all dues were paid respectively.
Turning around, Hazel's eyes met with the full and dark eyes of her step-brother, Simon.
She immediately looked away and for the rest of the burial ceremony, she avoided him like a plague.
When her best friend, Annika, noticed how Hazel was avoiding her step-brother, she talked about it, but Hazel told her she already got over the feeling for her step-brother, after all, it has been five years.
Annika didn't bother to talk about it anymore.
The burial ceremony was a success and despite how Mika was acting and wailing like the death of her husband really meant something to her, Hazel knew what was behind the façade.
She left her friend's place back to her late step-dad’s home, only to find out that her mother already sold the house to some strange people and absconded with the money.
Hazel tried calling her Mom but it was to no avail. Her number was going through.
With no option left, she called Annika just so she could get permission to stay for some days until she raised money to rent her own apartment, but Annika told her that her boyfriend was staying over and it would be uncomfortable for her to be there.
Stranded with no one to turn to, Hazel scrolled through her contact and saw the number of her step-brother. The man she haven't spoke with for five years. The married man.
After so much contemplating, she decided to give him a call, and luckily, he agreed for her to come stay at his mansion.
Arriving there, Hazel met a little girl playing around and she was instantly drawn to her.
She played with the little girl until Simon showed up and their eyes met.
Hazel smiled awkwardly at him and asked about his wife, Nina, but Simon remained silent for some seconds before speaking up.
He informed her that his wife died two years into their marriage from a gunshot.
Hazel clamped her mouth shut and didn't ask anymore question.
Simon told some maid to show her to her room and Hazel couldn't be more grateful.
After few months of staying over at his place, the feelings she thought she had buried inside of her surfaced.
Seeing Simon in just sweatpants without any shirt on, walking around the sitting room, she couldn't help but gawk at his perfect body.
But seeing that Simon had no interest in her, she tried to bury the feeling by going on blind dates to find herself a man who would be able to win her heart over and make her forget about the forbidden scenes she always had about her step-brother.
Each time she went on blind date, it always ends up in shame. They never showed up for some reason.
Confused, Hazel would return to Simon's home unhappy and Simon would show up asking about her date.
Not knowing what he was doing behind the scene, Hazel would always tell him about how she was stood up.
Unknowingly to her, a smile always appeared on his face at her unsuccessful date, not knowing he was the one in charge.
He didn't let any of her dates showed up, so she would remain in his house.
Due to frustration, Hazel drank herself to stupor at a club with Annika.
Annika who wasn't as drunk as her friend was, called Simon to come pick her up.
When Simon does, Hazel began to spill secrets about how she had always loved him for five years, despite he was already married and had a kid.
Simon let out a satisfied smile as he had always wanted to hear that from her.
He captured her lips into his, kissing the life out of the already drunk Hazel.
PLOT TWIST:
Simon has always had feelings for Hazel from five years ago, but then, she was just a seventeen years old minor and it was inappropriate for him who was twenty-eight years as at that time.
He got married to Nina because it was the only way for him to become a mafia Lord, since her father was a mafia lord maker.
He never loved her and when she got pregnant for him, he had no option but to get married to her.
Two years after their daughter, Aurora was born, Nina died during a gunshot, which was aimed at Simon in the first place.
She died because of her own foolishness and Simon couldn't save her.
When Simon found out that Hazel would be coming back for her step-dad's burial, he made Mika gambled with all her money and when she was left with nothing, he made her sell his father's house, so Hazel wouldn't have a place to stay.
He made sure she came to his home instead.
